Our First Published Book


The Genealogical Research Center of the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum, in co-operation with the Friends of the Museum, announces the publication of our first book:

Marriage Repertoire

Lafontaine (Ste. Croix) 1856 to 1983

Perkinsfield (St. Patrick) 1909 to 1982

Penetanguishene (St. Ann) 1835 to 1982

This 305-page book contains all marriages performed at the three locations for the specified years. Compiled by a Research Center volunteer, it records the names of the bride and groom, their parents, the date the event took place and the location.

Widow or widower status is also recorded and First Nations marriages are included along with a bride index.

If you are researching families in North Simcoe, you will find this to be a valuable addition to your research library.

The book is punched and suitable for a three ring binder.
