Birthday Parties at the Museum: Come and have your Birthday Party at the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum & Archives. Activities for 4-7 year olds include: dress in pioneer costume, churn and sample butter, gather hidden eggs, make and take home a Jolly Jumping Jack. Activities for 8-10 year olds include: dress in pioneer costume, churn and sample butter, museum treasure hunt, experiment with quill and ink. $8 per child, (minimum 10, maximum 15), loots bags available, ask for details.
Build a Bear Workshop with Stuff-It Animal Creations - Saturday, June 9th, 10 a.m., $25 per participant, registration required. Workshop includes: participant stuffing of a 16″ bear, wishing ceremony, personalized birth certificates, colouring craft, and take home bag.

The Penetanguishene Centennial Museum offers a guided walking tour of historic Penetanguishene including a visit to the museum. See the mansions of the lumber barons and other magnificent edifices from the town’s past! Enjoy during environs of the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum for lunch before or afterward!

The museum also offers outreach programs to care facilities and community groups. These programs are designed to bring our area’s past to life through artifact study and interactive discussion led by museum staff. Themes include:
